About Two Horizons Farm
Life is complicated. Good things can be simple.
After nearly a decade in Colorado, our family came home to rural Missouri and started Two Horizons Farm.
What began with a small lavender field has grown into flowers, products we make ourselves, and a few really good things we find along the way.
And we're still very much building it.
We don't have hundreds of acres, generations of farming experience, or everything figured out. We're learning what grows well here, what we actually love, and what deserves a place at Two Horizons.
Some things work beautifully.
Some definitely don't.
We keep the good ones.
Beautifully uncomplicated.
We believe beautiful doesn't have to mean elaborate.
Flowers don't need twenty ingredients to make the table better. A gift doesn't have to be extravagant to let someone know you were thinking about them. And the things we bring into our homes don't have to be precious to be worth enjoying.
That's what beautifully uncomplicated means to us.
It's not about creating a perfectly simple life.
Our own life certainly isn't one.
It's about making room for good things in the middle of a full one.
That idea shapes what we grow, what we make, and what we choose to offer here. If something doesn't earn its place, we don't need to sell it.
Why it matters to us
Craig and I are both mental health professionals, and years of sitting with people through complicated parts of life have inevitably shaped the way we see the world.
Life can be hard and good at the same time.
We've also learned that small things aren't necessarily insignificant.
Flowers for a teacher. Something good on the table. A thoughtful gift left on someone's doorstep. Five minutes outside. A really good cup of tea. Noticing something beautiful you almost walked past.
None of those things fixes the complicated parts of life.
That's not the point.
They're simply good.
And we think the good is worth noticing.
What we're building
Two Horizons is a working farm and a growing business.
We grow flowers and lavender here in Missouri. We make products we genuinely love. And occasionally we find something—a vase, a mug, something useful or beautiful—that we think is good enough to share with you too.
Some of what you see here comes directly from our fields. Some of it comes from our hands. And some of it comes from people and businesses we've chosen to work with.
We're much more interested in choosing well than offering everything.
Our hope is that, over time, Two Horizons becomes a place you trust to find something good—for your home, your table, someone you love, or simply yourself.
Because life is complicated.
Good things can be simple.
